About Chrysta

Chrysta was our nanny from the time our daughter was 4 months old until around the time she turned 4, and she became a true member of our family. I honestly can't recommend her enough. She's the most kind, loving, and communicative nanny we could have ever hoped for. She always kept us updated on how our kid's day was going, big or small. Our daughter adored her, and it showed in how present and engaged Chrysta was every single day. As she got older, Chrysta even took our kiddos on adventures to the park, children's museum, or to their various activities. We trusted her wholeheartedly. When our son was born, Chrysta was there for our family through it all — supportive, steady, and a comforting presence during such a big transition. That's the kind of person she is. She even told my husband to let me rest more when I was postpartum... we love a girl's girl! We went through the pandemic together, and she put the safety of our kiddos at the front of everything - even sacrificing time with her loved ones to make sure she kept our kids safe. When my husband and I decided to become foster parents, she immediately did the paperwork to be able to stay with our family during that journey. When we had placements, she treated them just like they were there from the beginning. Fostering is extremely challenging at times, but Chrysta made it doable. Through her time with our family, she helped with kids ages 4mo-12yo... and was equally as good with the older kids (firm, but fun!) as she was with the babies. My kids and Chrysta have a special bond and we keep in touch. When she's in town, we go to dinner or have her over. Genuinely - any family would be lucky to know Chrysta and to have her in their lives. She's a gem.
