About Christopher
Young retired social studies teacher and father of 3 with 26 years classroom experience is available to teach in your home and assist with remote learning. I have taught all levels of social studies 7-12 ; I am also a qualified and experienced teacher of ELA and Reading and am trained in the Socratic Method; I have experience with Math and Science curriculum through grade 7. In addition to raising 3 kids in southern Westchester, I ran an after school program at an elementary school and am a former Cub Scout leader. My wife has some availability for French. I know that you will find me to be an effective and engaging educator that will take the stress out of the many changes you and your children face this school year.
