About Christopher

I grew up in a large family (10th of 11 children) and have always had a great love of dogs, something shared by my large extended family. My first dog was an Irish Setter - certainly a challenging breed. Moving through my years there were multiple golden retrievers as well as numerous dogs my siblings and their children had - and I frequently cared for them, often for extended periods. Once I had children of my own (2 daughters), we welcomed 2 dogs into our home - both mixed breeds and both wonderful members of the family for over 13 years. Dogs have always been in my life and I currently have recently adopted a beautiful rescue dog with my wife. I am a very calm and patient person who understands that every dog is unique and deserves to be treated with kindness and respect.
