About Kiersten

Hi my name is Kiersten or more commonly known as Ms. Kiersten because all my friends are 3 years olds lol. I am currently a daycare teacher and have been at my daycare for 2 years now and have loved every second. I have spent quite some time in class rooms from ages infant to school age before finally becoming the lead teacher of our 3-year-old class. I eventually went on to earn my Child Development Associate and am preschool certified but had the opportunity to participate in the infant/toddler class as well! Child development is truly my passion and I find myself seeking out new information everyday and keeping up to date on behavior management techniques and infant safety. My favorite ways to spend my time are camping, going to concerts and hanging out with my cats. I think outside time is essential to child development and an amazing opportunity for learning. I drive the bus for our school agers as well giving me a love for field trips to parks, splash pads and museums!
