About Christine

My first job in high school was working at a nursing home making meals for seniors. My favorite thing was delivering those meals to the residents and chatting with them. I worked at other nursing homes and then started working for Meals on Wheels in Sussex County NJ. I managed a dozen staff at 4 locations and coordinated delivery schedules between paid staff and volunteers. I'm not a dietician but I have experience with various dietary needs and I understand importance of providing healthy and delicious meals. Healthy doesn't matter if it's not eaten. I'm not trained in providing personal care such as bathing but I can provide light housekeeping and cooking, transportation for shopping and medical appointments etc. I'm looking for rewarding part time work providing assistance and companionship to seniors.
