We hired Christine for a week after our nanny quit at the last minute. She showed up, on time, and did an OK job with our son. That day we were talking and she told me how she values professionalism and would never quit without 2 weeks notice. The very next morning at 6:15 am she texted to tell me she wouldn't be able to come because her mom was going to the hospital. I was fine with that - not upset and totally understood. She even called me that afternoon to tell me she'd be here the remainder of the week because her mom was doing OK. The next morning she again texted at 5:30 am to tell me she wouldn't be coming the rest of the week. We were left without childcare for the week when my husband and I both had jam-packed work weeks. I would not recommend Christine - she was average with the baby, but totally unreliable.
