About Christine

I am a dedicated educator with 9 years of experience. I have my bachelors degree in applied learning and development from The University of Texas at Austin. I graduated with a master degree in human development and psychology from Harvard. I am currently pursuing my second masters degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine. I have experience teaching in Pre-k-5th grade. I also have experience working with students with special needs such as ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, etc. I am passionate about and committed to making learning individualized to each student and their specific needs. I am particularly skilled in teaching reading and writing. I have vast experience helping students develop and apply developmentally appropriate phonics skills. I use a research based systematic approach to develop these skills and help students progress in their reading development. I am also happy to help with college applications and essays.
