I have been teaching elementary level K-5 grade for the past 6 years and prior to that I worked in the field of early childhood as a teacher and administrator for over 30 years. In the last four years I have privately tutored students grades Pre-K thru 5 grade. Usually the students were from families I have known in my school. I am a certified reading specialist and have concentrated the majority of my tutoring in ELA. However, I also am well verse in math and science and generally use the student's curriculum to help guide my instruction to foster thier struggles and needs.
