About Christine

I have ridden, shown and cared for horses since I was 9 (hard to believe, but it's been 45 years now) and currently have two on my property just outside of Castle Rock. I have boarded horses off and on for the past 30+ years, including lay-ups that needed various degrees of medical care. I administer my own shots and worm my horses on a regular basis and have made many trips to the equine medical center over the years (the vet there can definitely vouch for my character and care of animals.) I've taught children and adults to ride and am very adept at lounging, blanketing, turning out and all aspects of horse care. I also have a shepherd mix and two cats that are my 4-legged babies now that my 2-legged ones are grown. I'm passionate about animals because I feel there's nothing better than being able to make a little money doing something you truly love. Animals' safety and well-being are paramount to me and I have very strong feelings about anyone who abuses an animal in any way.
