*NOT CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR WORK* Hi! My name is Emily. I am 23 years old and I have been formally taking care of children for about six years now. I also previously worked in a licensed childcare facility for almost two years, so I have experience with children of all ages (infants to school age). I have taken multiple childcare and Early Childhood Education courses and just finished renewing my CPR/first aid training. I graduated from Saint Martin's University in May of 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Educational Studies and a minor in psychology. I think that there is so much to be learned from children and I find it very rewarding to work with them! I am fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID as well.

I would give more than five stars if I could for Emily. My family's experience with her alone makes me happy I joined care.com as a member. Emily is very much a natural with babies. My 14-month-old has adored her since first meeting her and will reach to go to her. Emily has an understanding of a given situation as it is happening, knowing when and how to respond in situations with a toddler. I have not found another provider with the same level of observation, involvement, and ease that Emily has. The times she has been caring for M. are the times I have literally de-stressed more than any other. My son has never been upset or hurt at all while in her care. I know he genuinely likes her demeanor and voice. I wish Emily could work longer for a summer because I would pay her double what she charges. The peace of mind has been invaluable.
