I have always loved helping people who have a hard time or can't do things for themselves. I was stuck for a long time trying to figure out where I fit in as far as work goes I went from a receptionist job of almost 5 years to fast food to an assistant to a business who did all their tax stuff etc. I never felt like any of those jobs truly spoke to who I am and what I am capable of. I decided to try caregiver, I figured what is it going to hurt. My mom did this job for 30 years and my sister also did this job for a while so I felt inspired to try it for myself. Seniors have worked hard their wholes lives and have done so much for others and I feel like this is a way to repay them for all their hard work by helping them with daily tasks they may not be able to complete alone or just to be there for them because they need company and someone who they can relate to and will listen to them. I do have experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's and have used Hoyer lifts
