About Christina

I am an adjunct professor and researcher with a doctorate in the History of Christianity from the University of Chicago. I specialize in history, English/writing, math and foreign languages (I'm fluent in Spanish, but I can also tutor in French, German, Italian, and Latin). I have extensive teaching and tutoring experience, including an online teaching certification. I look forward to meeting you and collaborating on how best to support you or your child. I'd describe my personality as patient, knowledgeable, and kind. I like tutoring because I enjoy watching students succeed! I started tutoring when I was in high school and have tutored in college and throughout graduate school. In my spare time, I like to read and go on adventures with my dog. My skills include improving academic writing, reading comprehension, and foreign languages.
