About Christina

Hi there! I have 12 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. I have volunteered and/or worked at a Children's camp, hospitals, an elementary school, after-school program, private homes, and a head-start preschool. I have a caring, nurturing, encouraging, patient, compassionate, funny, flexible, and creative personality that I bring into my work with children. I have a strong passion for teaching, and I also always try to make learning fun! I create an individualized learning plan for each child I work with based on their developmental level, skill level, and personal goals. I whole-heartedly believe learning and growth are always possible that starts with a child's willing heart, and an open-minded teacher that can teach in both traditional and non-traditional play-based ways. In all my positions with children through-out the years, I have always been committed to cultivating a love of learning in each child and an unconditional belief in themselves!
