About Christina

Hello! My name is Christina. I am a 25-year-old with 4 years of experience working in the education space. I spent two years post-grad teaching art classes of jewelry design, fashion illustration and sewing. I then took a position as a Long Term Substitute Teacher at a K-5 elementary school working in a General Education classroom as well as my current position in Special Education. I help students work on their reading comprehension, reading fluency, math facts, writing and more. I also offer private art lessons in a variety of art mediums. I am patient, outgoing and knowledgeable in working with all students with varying abilities. I can meet students at the local library and also come for private sessions at student's residence as well. I have received a full ride to Illinois State University for this Fall 2024 to earn my Masters in Art and Design Education for K-12 so will be unavailable past August 1st.
