About Christie

I have over 10 years' of experience working with the geriatric population, specifically those with Alzheimers/dementia & other physical/mental disabilities. My first training was through Americare Plus In-Home Services as a Personal Caregiving Assistant. In addition, I have also worked as a Family Development Specialist at Buena Vista TAP HeadStart, a classroom assistant for children with disabilities at Central Elementary & as a certified paraprofessional at ParryMcCluer High School. My latest job was an Activities Director at Shenandoah Health & Rehabilitation. I chose to return to personal caregiving because it provides the atmosphere & opportunity to ensure quality & compassionate caregiving, which is my goal.
