About Christie

I have been working with children since I was a teen. I have been a preschool and elementary school teacher. I am a mom of 7 children including one with a developmental disability and a chromosomal condition. I'd describe my personality as kind, gentle, firm I like working with kids because I love the joy and energy that children have. I love watching them develop the lifelong love of learning. I'm looking for a job that I can help my community and my family. I started working with kids when I was 12. I worked at my church for many years. Then at 18 I became a preschool teacher while I in college then an elementary school teacher afterwards. In my spare time, I like to crochet, farm, and read books. One thing you should know about me is I love children and I love helping them learn and discover new things. I am a big fan of learning through play and through nature. My skills include general education, crafts, and learning with play.
