About Christi

I am a wife, a mom of two little boys, and a Canadian. I like other cultures, swimming, writing and getting outside. Helping kids develop their creativity, imagination, and love for learning is a passion of mine. I'd describe my personality as warm, joyful and fun I'm looking for a job where I can bring my 3-year-old and my 6-year-old after school. I would love to support another family alongside my own. I am even open to having children in my home if that is helpful. I spent my teen years running kid's camps for children on an aboriginal reserve in Canada. I went to school for youth ministry, and worked with troubled youth in my twenties. I spent some time as a nanny and as a teacher's aide in preschool. My oldest is on the spectrum and I am a better mom for it; I have learned how to use creativity to solve problems and help my kids adapt.
