About Christel

I have over 25 years of experience working with children ages infant-12th grade. My first job was teaching Toddlers in a Christian Daycare setting. Later, after having my own children, while driving school bus part time, I went back to college to finish my degree in Early Childhood Education and took a job as a Director of Children and Youth in Trinity UM Church in Hummelstown, leading and supervising programs and care for children from infants through 12th grade. After 11 years, I retired from that job and have taken a job as a Group Supervisor/Team Leader and teacher of toddlers in an Early Learning Center. I love what I do, and adore working with children, but would rather work in a home setting where I am able to devote more time, one on one with children. I love to teach and would provide a safe, loving environment where children can explore and learn through art, nature, music and hands on experiences.
