I have been working as a professional senior caregiver for over 10 years. I started out in the field as a senior companion and fell in love with the work. Through the years I have worked with many different seniors with different needs. I have experience with seniors that suffer from Alzheimer's and dementia- from early onset all through the final stages. I am a very upbeat, energetic and positive person who is very easy to get along with. I have an assertive yet laid back approach that has yielded much success with my clients. I have a keen understanding of human behavior which helps me identify the specific needs of each individual. I also have a background in cooking so I am available to prepare a wide variety of dishes. Senior care is not a hobby for me, it's what I love to do. I treat every person I work with as if they were a member of my own family. Christa is wonderful with my Dad! Has such a positive personality that helps to draw him out of his inertia. She also thinks on her feet with suggestions and ideas to help all of us in his care as his dementia grows and his day to day tasks become more difficult! A true winner!
