I am a Dancer by nature and a Spanish teacher by profession, with 13 years of experience teaching in San Antonio schools. I have taught in both formal & informal environments, with all age groups from adults & high school to pre-K & infants. I emphasize the student's interests, a love of learning and the value of bilingualism, helping my students to build confidence as well as communication skills.

Our 9 yr old wanted so bad to try tap dancing last yr and we were very grateful to have found Christalene. She was able to connect with our daughter almost immediately. The goal was to get her to an advanced level of dance so she could join a class that included only tap. Christalene was amazing!! Her level of patience is very impressive. She was able to keep our very talkative daughter on task and still be so sweet, supportive, encouraging and focused. Our goal was surpassed and we look forward to setting some new ones. I would most definitely hire Christalene again and would highly recommend her to others. :-)
