About Sophia
Experience: 5 yrs
Hi, my name is Sophia and I have five years of childcare experience and I love teaching kids new skills such as reading, writing, and math. I love reading books to kids and I currently work as a teacher assistant with young kids at a preschool in New York. I am CPR and First Aid certified and I have an Associate's degree from Suffolk County Community College.
Most recent review
I hired Sophia for a trial caring for my 10-month-old twins. Given her requested rate, I expected someone with solid infant experience who could work independently after learning our routine. Unfortunately, she appeared to lack basic experience caring for babies under one and did not seem to know what to do. Thankfully, I was home and had another experienced nanny present. I would not have felt comfortable leaving her alone with my children. I strongly recommend a supervised trial before hiring.
