I like working with kids because they're so little that everything to them is so golden and precious! To see their faces light up when they're doing something they love or see someone they love is everything! I'm looking for a job that allows me to grow with their family! I believe consistency is very important to kids! So allowing me to be able to work with them frequently is better for me and them! I started working with kids when I was a teen. I had the normal babysitting position as the older cousin! I watched all of my cousins from infant on up! I took the next step when I turned 19 and worked in my 1st childcare setting! I absolutely loved it! It was only a summer gig so when the summer was up I found a preschool to work full time! I was the youngest person in my setting but I loved my job! To watch the kids grow was everything to me! In the parents words "it's like watching my younger siblings grow up"
