My name is Cheryl. I am looking for a full-time position. 60-168 hrs/week. I have been an S. T. N. A. for 42 years. I have worked in nursing homes and hospitals, and for the last 12 years, I have been a private duty live-in caregiver. I have experience in the following areas: 1. Activities of daily living. 2. Cooking. 3. Cleaning. 4. Administering medications. 5. Hospice. 6. Companionship. 7. Taking vital signs. 8. Working with Drs. and nurses. 9. Range of motion exercises. 10. Transferring patients, including patients, that require the use of a Hoyer Lift or Gait Belt. Most of my private patients have had some form of dementia. I am very passionate about my job. I have a resume, numerous letters of recommendation from families whom I've provided care for, and personal and professional references that are available upon request.

Cheryl came to our family in Spring of 2023 to help care for our mother. Our mother suffered from Dementia. Cheryl was a blessing to our family always on time, willing to stay on longer if needed. She even stayed overnight when needed. So was kind, loving, funny, nuturing to our mother. She knew how to make her smile and respond to her. Our mother would light up when she would see her come in her room. Cheryl would take her for walks and sit outdoors letting her enjoy the sunshine and warm weather. Cheryl offered so much to us and we consider her family. Cheryl loves to cook and share recipes. She loves the Lord and enjoyed sharing God word with anyone that was interested. Cheryl's duties but not limited too consist of Bathing, feeding, changing, laundry, activities, cleaning mom's room, reading, taking vitals and more. Cheryl is someone that we would hire upon again if we need some in the future.
