About Cheryl

I'd describe my personality as driven, compassionate, and determined. I like tutoring because classroom settings are not always the best for students. Providing a new options or new instruction can open learning to limitless possibilities. I'm looking for a student who needs help learning skills they struggle learning in school. I started tutoring when I started in education 13 years ago. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my children, dogs, and family. One thing you should know about me is I will strive to do what is best for a student who needs to learn. If I'm not the right fit, I'll be open and honest about that. On the other hand, if we work well together, I enjoy finding fun and creative ways for students to learn and understand material. My skills include English, computer programming, and ACT test prep.
