Hello! I am a fit 71-year-old and have been a nanny for many years. I started in the profession while getting a BFA in painting and have come back to the work at various times over the years. I love caring for, playing with, and teaching children. We enjoy daily walks exploring the sights and sounds of nature, stimulating activities using all of the senses, listening to NPR classical, reading, and library time. For babies, we enjoy all of the above as well as lullabies, having fun with color and texture, tummy time, and lots of play on the floor. I am not currently seeking a full time position but may be happy to consider temporary one time assignments, including overnights. I will always have reliable transportation and I am free to travel. Cheryl has been a part-time nanny for my 3-year-old son for the past couple of years, and she is hands down the best caregiver we have had the pleasure of working with.
