She really takes the time to cater to that child's particular needs. She does an amazing job at realizing that every child is different so the same method won't work on everyone and will try different ways until finding out what works best for that child. She is amazing at catering to the learning development and finding ways to motivate that particular child to try new things. She is very personable and is very much about making experiences (good or bad) teachable/learning opportunities. My son has really blossomed under her care the opportunities that he has had with her. She is exceptional with kids on the spectrum, her patience and encouragement is phenomenal. My son is 3 1/2 and for the most part nonverbal, so It really helps set my mind at ease that I found someone who can connect and relate to my son so easily when I have to be away.
