I'd describe my personality as detailed, punctual, and caring. I like working with kids because, I like to watch them grow and learn as they play. The aha moment when they learn something and it just clicks in their little brains. I started working with kids when I was in middle school I started babysitting, from there I became a nanny when I was 20 years old and stayed with the same family for five years. Then I became a dental assistant for several years, and finally came back to nannying about five years ago. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my 26-year-old daughter and my husband, Mark. I also enjoy light gardening. One thing you should know about me is that I am very engaging with the child/ children that I am caring for. My skills include engaging, empathetic, and strong work ethic.

Cherie is kind, professional, and communicates promptly and clearly. We appreciated her reliability in terms of timeliness and her positive demeanor. We hired her to care for our 13 week old when I returned to work, and I work from home, so I was available for occasional support. During her time with us, she often requested assistance whenever our baby became fussy or cried. While we completely understood needing some support, especially at the beginning, it ultimately became difficult for me to balance providing frequent assistance while maintaining my work responsibilities. Unfortunately, after three days, she notified us via text less than 48 hours before her next scheduled shift that she would not be returning. She did not provide a reason or clarification as to why she would not be returning. This left us in a challenging position to find last minute childcare coverage. Overall, Cherie is a kind and communicative individual, but her level of comfort with infant care may be better suited for a different family situation.
