About Cheri

This review is long! I apologize in adance. My grandmother has suffered multiple strokes and has dementia, which is becoming more aggressive. Caring for her while maintaining life has become much more challenging. The care that Cheri provides makes life feel manageable now. I am grateful to have an experienced healthcare worker that knows what she's doing and cares about the families she works with. Cheri has proven to be trustworthy, reliable and skilled in her profession. She has built a bond with my grandmother and that makes it much easier to deal with dementia and sun-downing episodes. The care Cheri provides truly gives me peace of mind. My grandmother's health battles has decreased her overall independence and physical abilities and mental capacity. Caring for my grandmother has required a lot of sacrifices. Having Cheri as a part of our lives now is allowing me the opportunity to start taking care of myself, so that I can be there for my grandmother. Even if I just need time to myself to process through life, I feel comfortable scheduling Cheri to be with my grandmother while I take space for myself. You have to be so careful who you allow in your home and around your family because everyone doesn't mean well. That is why I am so grateful to have met a caregiver that I trust. Cheri is gentle and patient with my grandmother even during challenging days. I never feel like my grandmother is too much for Cheri to handle even when it's too much for me to handle. They actually have a great time together. I thank God for sending her to us.
