About Chelsey

I'd describe my personality as attentive, calming, inquisitive, adaptable and patient. I enjoy caring for seniors because I think it's an under-respected stage of life, rich with value and teachings. Each person worth support as the body and mind change and age. I'm looking for a job that is service-oriented where I can provide relief and a sense of being seen and cared for. I started caring for seniors while working at an Alzheimer's and Dementia center-- and I loved the work. In my spare time, I enjoy reflecting, reading and researching, writing and painting, going on hikes, and watching niche films with friends. One thing you should know about me is I am very dedicated to my work. Because of this I like for my boundaries and stated capacity to be honored. Trying to not go past and hit burnout! I have experience with bathing, grooming, transportation and lifting, feeding, toileting help, responding appropriately in moments of distress, and providing a listening ear.
