For 2 years I sat with an elderly woman by the name of Ms.S She was a dementia patient and had several medications she had to take daily as well as breathing treatments and small physical therapy exercises we had to do since she fell often. My primary jobs were not only to keep her company, but I bathed, dressed, and assisted her in every way possible, as well as made her breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We loved eating ice cream together and watching Hallmark movies. She would often take a nap in the afternoons and I would do light house cleaning at that time. It was hands down my favorite job and we became best friends by the end of my two years. I had to move so that's why my job ended, but I still keep in contact with her daughter. The family was very good to me and I am looking for another job to do what I love:)
