About Chelsea

Hi there! My name is Chelsea and I have been working with children for the past 12 years. I started out my career working in a daycare setting. In this setting I worked with children of all ages as well as supervised staff. After graduating with my Master's in Social Work, I began working for child protective services. I worked in this role for over six years before transitioning into the school setting. I currently work as a social worker for an alternative school that educates children 6th-12th grade. Here I work with children who have special needs as well as behavioral issues. I am very passionate about working with children and have dedicated my schooling and career to this passion. In addition to having a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Social Work, I have training in first aide, medication administration, restorative practices, as well as early childhood psychology. I am currently available to nanny/provide childcare for any age throughout the summer!
