About Chelsea

I have worked in LAUSD for the last 5 years, recently as a SPED Aide for children with moderate/severe abilities. I have experience with children ages 4 - 13 (TK - grade 8) and unofficial experience working with children 0 - 13. I have an AS in early childhood development and a BA in child development. I'd describe my personality as patient, caring, and hardworking. I like working with kids because even though they are learning from me, I am also learning from them. I'm looking for a job that provides a safe and friendly work place. I started working with kids 5 years ago when I started working towards my degree in child development. In my spare time, I like to do crafts and spend time with my family and friends. One thing you should know about me is I will go above and beyond to provide excellent service. My skills include helping children regulate emotions, ability to keep a schedule, and my capacity for creativity to keep children happy and meaningfully engaged.
