About Chelsea

Hi! My name is Chelsea and I'm currently pursing a master's degree in English from the University of New Hampshire. I have more than 6 years of paid teaching/tutoring experience in literature, language, reading, writing, and study skills. I currently teach writing to first-year college students at UNH, but I have also worked with students ranging from elementary-aged children to young adults. I have a year of formal experience teaching fourth grade ESL at a public elementary school in Providence, RI in Math and ELA subject areas. I'm patient, a team player, and can be extremely flexible to meet the needs and goals of any student I work with. Most importantly, I cherish the interpersonal and worthwhile connection that flourishes through one-on-one tutoring and learning-which, to me, is the most fruitful part of any learning/teaching dynamic.
