About Chava

I am a queer parent of queer children (who are all grown up now) and I strive to make the children in my care feel loved and safe. I'm an experienced caregiver with 20 years of experience who finds joy in nurturing children's growth and development. My journey in childcare began with my large extended family. I was a middle school teacher for many years and now run weekly parenting groups for my day job. I'm eager to support families in my community. I'm creative, friendly, and intentional, and I strive to build strong relationships with both children and parents. I follow the parents' preferred communication method and work closely with them to create a consistent and nurturing environment for their child. I have a variety of games and activities to keep children engaged and learning. I'm also willing to help with travel. I'm excited to bring my passion and experience to your family and be a positive role model for your child.
