Hi! I'm Chaulyne. I'm 29 years old, and I'm from Brazil. I'm CPR & First aid certified. I started to take care of kids when I was 12 years old. I used to take care of my nephew every day until he turned one yo, and then I took care of him on the weekends for a few years. Besides that, I worked for three years with two different families in Brazil. Here in Portland, I've worked for families with children of various ages (from newborns to 13-year-old.) Chau has been taking care of our 1-year-old son every Friday for almost a year and she is such a wonderful caregiver! Our baby loved her from the first time he met her, and she is great with our older son when he's around, too. She is never late, an awesome communicator, cares for our son like her own, plans ahead, problem solves, and has great ideas for food and activities. She even goes above and beyond for enrichment (way more than I do!) finding story times to attend and customizing activities for our son's interests and development. It's so bittersweet that we now have a spot at daycare, because we will all miss seeing Chau every week!
