I recently resigned from being a teachers assistant for a founding school because I truly love caregiving and the close connections I make with families. I have a lot of experience babysitting kiddos and love getting out of the house. Through my career I have babysat newborns to teenagers and I love them all! I am so invested in child development that I take a lot of opportunities to volunteer for mentorship programs because I understand how important it is to invest into them. I am currently working remotely with a non profit organization that helps to empower and prepare youth for the next stages of their life through entrepreneurial education. I also have a tremendous amount of experience in caring for children with any disabilities (down syndrome and autism specifically) . Chas as she likes to be called has been amazing for our little family. She keeps things interesting for our little kindergartner. She has a really good balance of play and work. She knows how to have fun but also make sure things don't get out of control. She is creative, outdoorsy and artistic. We are going to miss her but hope Houston treats her well.
