I earned my BA in Psychology and my MA in Counseling Psychology at Northwestern State University. I have a strong background in English and Philosophy. For the last 20 years, I have worked as a Mental Health Counselor. My passion is writing and I have always been an avid reader. My fondest memories of my life journey were those spent at Melrose Historic Home where my husband and I were the resident curators/managers. I went to Northwestern part time during this period of time to earn my degree. It was both interesting and inspiring. I would love to pass on my love of learning.
