Hello! My name is Charlie. I am currently a FT Toddler Teacher in Glastonbury Public Schools. I've been a toddler teacher for 4 years now. I've worked with children from ages 0-13yrs for the past 7 years. It's been a pleasure to be welcomed and loved by so many families in and out of the school. I want to further my career and be a PT sitter/nanny for the remainder of the year. My love for children began when I was just 2 years old, when I became an Aunt, I have 6 nieces and nephews total! In highschool, I've always found myself signing up for ECE and since I've entered the workforce. I've found my passion by helping families raise, teach, and nuture their children. I am First Aid & CPR trained. I love spending time with my puppy and family. Arts & Crafts are my favorite! I am currently enrolled in school for my CDA. I would love to help a family! Charlie was fantastic! We hired her and her sister (who also works with kids) to provide childcare at our wedding for our guests with kids, and our own two girls. Charlie was great with communication, we spoke a few times before the event. The day of the wedding, Charlie showed up on time and had a plan. She did a great job arranging the childcare rooms and connected with each of the parents. I felt good knowing that she was first aid certified and that she knows what to expect with young children. She had a great rapport with the kids and exudes calm in a chaotic environment. She brought her own tape and a sharpie to label kid items to make it easier at the end of the night. Knowing that my girls were well taken care of helped me relax and enjoy my wedding. 10/10 would hire Charlie again.
