I have 8 years of experience. in teaching undergraduate courses in mathematics ranging from calculus to differential equations. I have also developed and taught undergraduate students in the use of Matlab, Python, and Mathematica through courses emphasizing elementary numerical methods and their use in computational science and engineering with an emphasis on simulating physical systems governed by ordinary and partial differential equations. I am experienced in teaching students without any background or familiarity with coding or scripting. Students in these courses gained familiarity with the process of implementing increasingly sophisticated numerical methods. Throughout the course, students gained insight into the development of test cases to validate their code through a variety of means, and over a wide range of example systems in physics.
