About Charlene

Hi! I'm Charlie. I have done flowers for 32 years, and am newly divorced. My husband met someone walking the dog during COVID, and decided he wanted to be with her, so here I am, starting over. I have a 25-year-old daughter who is amazing, and my best friend. I moved to Mound in May 2021, and am fixing up my house. I am an animal lover, gardener, florist, and crocheter. In junior high, I created a group of fellow students to "adopt a grandparent" at the nursing home behind our school. Since then, I have volunteered for meals on wheels, and trained two dogs to do therapy and hospice work. Since I started caregiving two years ago, I have helped multiple families and elders. I have done everything from meal prep, personal cares, visiting and assisting with any and all cares. I have since become a Certified Death midwife, and am a dementia certified caregiver. I love helping people until end of life. It is such a sacred time in our journey as a human and a family.
