About Charity

Hello families! I have been in childcare professionally for over 5 years. I have experience in public school pre-k as an assistant teacher (2 years), special needs pre-school as a paraprofessional (1 year), one on one nannying, and nanny shares (approaching 4 years). Having experience in a classroom has given me a skill set of coming up with fun and engaging activities to help with child development. I would describe my personality as kind, patient, and supportive. I will be a new mom soon and hope to find a family that will allow me to bring my daughter to gain social and developmental skills. I believe in play based learning and encourage children to step out of their comfort zone without being too pushy. It is important for my families to feel comfortable and trust me with free range to be able to go out and explore with the child/ children. I always ensure a safe and enjoyable environment inside and outside of the home. I hope to find a long term family to grow with.
