About Charissa

I love children, and I love learning. I am uniquely qualified to tutor & teach children from home because I was homeschooled from kindergarten to 12th grade, and I also have a great amount of experience teaching children. I specialize in grades K-6th, and all subjects for Jr. High-High School excluding math levels higher than Geometry (I am happy to oversee higher math levels, but am not an expert in tutoring higher than geometry). I bring patience and fun to learning. I graduated high school with a 4. 6 GPA, & I tested in the 90th percentile of California's standardized testing my entire academic career. I hold a BA from UCLA. I am great with time management, making learning FUN for kiddos, & keeping their frustration at bay. I believe each child has a unique way of absorbing information, & I tailor my approach for each child's needs. Will tutor online.
