About Chapman

Hi! I'm Chapman, a student at Duke University with a passion for working with children and creating safe, joyful, and encouraging environments where they can grow. I believe creativity and play are incredibly important parts of childhood development, and I love helping kids build confidence, kindness, curiosity, and independence through meaningful interaction and fun activities. I have experience as a camp counselor at a three-week overnight summer camp, a dance teacher for children ages 4-10, and a caregiver for children with special needs- including serving as a primary caregiver for a young girl with Angelman syndrome. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, empathy, adaptability, and creating individualized support for every child. I strive to be a warm, dependable, and positive presence in the lives of the families I work with.
