I lived in Southern Mexico for four years where both of my children were born and hence possess dual citizenship. I also opened up a school in the village I lived in and taught the neighboring children English. I had studied Spanish in high school prior to moving to Mexico but nothing prepared me for living the language like moving to a native speaking country. I learned by submersion.
