About Chantel

I've always loved working with children. At the beginning of my career I served as a party hostess for children's birthday parties and later I served as lead teacher in the Early Childhood Education field. I recently retired as a subcontractor where I served as a Dependency Case Manager. In this role I served children in foster care and the dependency system. I enjoy engaging with children from infancy to 16 years old. I am a firm believer in educational play and I encourage creativity, structure, and praise of even the most minor accomplishments made by children. I am currently a full-time 4th grade teacher. I teach all subjects. I have been teaching and tutoring for the past three years and I love it. I'm a Certified Educator with a Masters Degree in Education.
