About Chantal

My name is Chantal , a caregiver who resides in New York. I am a newly certified caregiver but as a teacher of the arts for several years, I have gathered skills that's can aid to my experiences as a caregiver. One such skill is the use of art therapy for the contribution to client's mental and physical health. Other skills I've acquired is to provide care as needed such as ambulation, assist with dressing, transferring, range of motion and creating different forms of art that can help with muscle and memory recovery such as pottery, painting, and constructing objects. Communicating effectively and being a companion also helps to make clients feel comfortable with the care they are receiving, in turn, helping me to pay attention to details about them more keenly and meet their needs.
