About Chantal

In my free time, I like to sing and paint. I'm currently training for a half marathon, and run a food social media account where I publish my favorite recipes! I love working with kids because of their constant creativity and energy. I grew up with little brothers and a neighborhood full of kids, and can't imagine a life without childhood excitement. I started babysitting when I was 12, and have watched ages ranging from infancy to 13 years old. I also have experience as a summer camp counselor, where I was in charge of 20 5-6-year-olds. As a counselor, I worked closely with kids who had been flagged for special needs or behavioral difficulties, and found alternative ways to reward good attitudes and get their energy out. I am proud of my ability to meet each kid where they're at, and find new ways to have fun together! I'm open to any kind of job, and can do anything from lending a helping hand to taking a large group of kids out on a day trip to the beach!
