About Celia

I am a part time assistant preschool teacher looking for recurring or one time childcare jobs. I have the most availability during summer months and over school breaks, but I will have evening, weekend and select weekdays available through the school year. I'm silly and fun, and will run around with your child, go on the swings, play pretend, draw together and more. I love spending time outside and sharing my knowledge of the natural world. The school I teach at emphasizes social-emotional development and conflict resolution. I love to support children through joyful and difficult moments. I am comfortable managing a wide array of behaviors. In fact, I've found the students I've connected most with tend to be the ones with behavioral challenges. I am enrolled at GCC studying early childhood development, on track to receive my teaching certificate in the Spring. I grew up on a small farm and am comfortable around all sorts of animals, from dogs to bugs to snakes.
