About Celeste

Hi, My name is Celeste, and my background is in Environmental science and nature education. I currently work at the YMCA as a Childcare Supervisor for ages 6 months- kindergarten. I love taking care of kids and helping them grow. I also teach a nature class to toddlers at Swarthmore College. I'd describe my personality as compassionate, understanding, and fun. I like working with kids because each child is different and being a little silly when teaching children concepts and trying to solve problems. I have found that it makes the experience enjoyable on both ends. Being a bit unique helps concepts stick! I'm looking for a job that can fit my schedule with a family that is caring and kind. I started working with kids when I was 13. In my spare time, I like to explore the outdoors, craft, bake, and read.
