About Cela

Hi there! My name is Marcela but I go by Cela, and caring for others especially children is at the heart of everything I do. I have two degrees in psychology, an AA & BA; I recently graduated and received my BA from UCLA, and I currently work full-time as a Clinical Assistant at a mental health residential center supporting teens with mental health needs. I've always been passionate about helping kids feel safe, heard, and supported. Whether it's assisting with daily routines, providing emotional comfort, or just being a warm and reliable presence, I approach every child with patience, kindness, and respect. I'm CPR-certified, water/safety certified, trained in safety procedures, and used to working closely with families and healthcare teams.
